The Global Leadership Series

Is a new CSC Global Alumni event programme launching in late 2020 will showcase leadership across the Commonwealth.

The series will promote global thought leadership on salient leadership issues to a global public audience via our website and YouTube channels.

The first event will be hosted by CSC alumni and Chief Executive of the Australian British Chamber of Commerce David McCredie OBE.

Our first guest is THE HONOURABLE WARWICK SMITH AO (CSC Alumni 1986)

Warwick is a former Australian Government minister and member of parliament for 15 years.  He is now one of the country's most respected and highest profile businessmen.  

  • Chairman, Advisory Board - Australian Capital Equity, holders of interests in Seven Group Holdings of which he is a Board Director, Seven West Media, Coates Hire, Beach Energy, WesTrac and Caterpillar industrial services and equipment in Western Australia and New South Wales
  • Chairman of the Business Council of Australia's Global Engagement Committee.  
  • Former Chairman of the Australia–China Council for over 8 years. 
  • Inaugural Chair of the National Foundation for Australia-China Relations.  
  • Current Global Trustee of the Asia Society and Chairman Emeritus of the Asia Society in Australia.
  • Former Executive Director with the Macquarie Bank Group.
  • Former Senior Managing Director for the ANZ Banking Group. 
  • Former Chairman of the Australian Sports Commission.  
  • Australia's first Telecommunications Ombudsman.
